Jemeisha Williams is a Registered Social Worker, with a passion for helping Black youth succeed. At a young age she realized her passion for helping others work through various challenges and lived experiences to reach their full potential. Which led her to pursuing a career in Social Work.
Jemeisha has earned both a Bachelor and Master of Social Workdegrees from York University and a Social Services Diploma from Humber College. Having navigated unique challenges of her own both professionally and personally, Jemeisha has never allowed obstacles to hinder her ability to strive for what she believes in.
Over the past decade, her work includes working at various non-profit organizations within the Greater Toronto Area as a Child and Youth Worker, Program Coordinator, Student Advisor, part-time professor, Youth Counsellor and most recent the Program Coordinator for Humber’s Black Student Support and Engagement Program.
Jemeisha has received several scholarships, awards and recognition for her amazing work and contributions to her community. Her work ethic and humility certainly does not go unnoticed and is a huge part of what makes her a guiding force.

Hénoc Muamba is a Congolese-Canadian football player for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected first overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2011 CFL Draft, becoming the first player from St. Francis Xavier University to be chosen first overall in the draft. In 2022, he won the Grey Cup with the Argonauts and was named the game's most valuable player (MVP) and Grey Cup Most Valuable Canadian; the 2nd player in history to ever earn both awards.

The Honourable Jean Augustine- a humanitarian and grass roots activist who’s contribution expands to many social causes through her involvement on boards such as that of York University, The Hospital for Sick Children and She also served as the National President of the Congress of Black Women of Canada.
Her capacities and work ethic were recognized by political leaders who began to call upon her for various tasks ranging from the development and launch of Canada's official multiculturalism policy in 1971, to providing advice on cabinet level appointments.
In 1993, Jean Augustine made history as the first African-Canadian woman to be elected to Canada’s House of Commons as the Member of Parliament from the Greater Toronto Area constituency of Etobicoke-Lakeshore. She served with distinction winning four consecutive elections until she decided to move on to new challenges in 2006.
Jean Augustine’s story is a testament to the power of hard work and devotion in pursuit of social justice.
